Thoughts on the meal

I made my first pizza on the weekend after encouragement from GC.

Ingredients

  • Leftover pizza dough
  • Tomato paste
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Bocconcini 
  • Salami
  • Basil
  • Cherry tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Allow the refrigerated dough to get to room temperature
  2. Use a bit of extra flour to avoid it all getting too sticky
  3. Flatten out the dough with your hands or with a rolling pin
  4. I used my hands and made sure I used some flour on my hands and turned over the dough onto a flour covered bench and I flattened it out
  5. Try to make a circle but don’t fret if that doesn’t happen
  6. Spread on some tomato paste
  7. Lay out some mozzarella
  8. Lay out some salami
  9. Tear some bocconcini and add that
  10. Sprinkle on some fried basil and toss on a few cherry tomatoes
  11. Remember to turn on the oven to the highest setting
  12. Put the pizza into the oven and cook until the crust looks right
  13. Eat the thing and burn your palate with the super heated cherry tomatoes
