
Thoughts on the meal
I made my first pizza on the weekend after encouragement from GC.
Ingredients
- Leftover pizza dough
- Tomato paste
- Mozzarella cheese
- Bocconcini
- Salami
- Basil
- Cherry tomatoes


Instructions
- Allow the refrigerated dough to get to room temperature
- Use a bit of extra flour to avoid it all getting too sticky
- Flatten out the dough with your hands or with a rolling pin
- I used my hands and made sure I used some flour on my hands and turned over the dough onto a flour covered bench and I flattened it out
- Try to make a circle but don’t fret if that doesn’t happen
- Spread on some tomato paste
- Lay out some mozzarella
- Lay out some salami
- Tear some bocconcini and add that
- Sprinkle on some fried basil and toss on a few cherry tomatoes
- Remember to turn on the oven to the highest setting
- Put the pizza into the oven and cook until the crust looks right
- Eat the thing and burn your palate with the super heated cherry tomatoes
