Friday steak

I bought this steak from a Drakes Supermarket in Torrensville Plaza.

I think it cost me about $AUD20.

I dry-brined it overnight.

I heated a carbon-steel frypan on high heat and added a little beef fat.

I cooked the steak; flipping it every 30 seconds.

I rested the steak in an aluminium foil envelope for 5 minutes.

I sliced the steak with a cook’s knife.

I ate it with some butter.
