I recently wrote about how I cooked a brisket in a slow cooker.
Here are the meals I prepared with the leftover brisket.
Most of the meals involved cutting the refrigerated meat into rough cubes and boiling the meat in the beef broth from the slow cooker.
This is an easy way to prepare a meal. The brisket remains tender with a nice “chew,” and the beef flavour is prominent.
I like to prepare these leftover brisket meals in a saucier pan. A saucier pan combines the features of a skillet and a saucepan. It has a wide, flat bottom and gently sloping sides, making it useful for sautéing, searing, and making sauces. The design allows for easy stirring and whisking, ensuring that ingredients are evenly cooked and sauces are smoothly blended. The curved sloping sides makes for easier cleaning too.
