Yay, it’s Friday. I got home and grabbed tins of corned beef, mushrooms in butter, and corn. I had frozen baby green peas in the freezer and some spinach leave on their last legs in the refrigerator.

Yay, it’s Friday. I got home and grabbed tins of corned beef, mushrooms in butter, and corn. I had frozen baby green peas in the freezer and some spinach leave on their last legs in the refrigerator.
Last week I learnt that if I put some baby green peas in a baking tray and put a piece of deboned chicken thigh on top I end up with some peas which remain green and soft and some peas which go brown and crunchy.
I really enjoyed both textures.
Another busy day and on the way home I got a call from work to check something out. It meant my plan for takeaway was thwarted because once I’m home I don’t want to go out again.
I had the last of the lamb in the refrigerator from the weekend roast lamb shoulder. I looked in the freezer and saw some corn cobs and peas.
