I’ll be heading into work later this morning. I woke up early to check out what e-mail had come in overnight at work.
I thought I would share how my routine starts and how I centre myself digestively each morning, especially on a Sunday when I want a little peace, quiet, and relaxation rather than a weekday morning which can be a little rushed with making lunch and doing everything to get to work by 6.15.

I need to return to my routine and for breakfast that means an egg and spinach and on alternating days it may include some melted cheddar cheese.
I’ve been working in Norfolk Island this week.
It’s good to be back in Canberra.
I said hello to Mr Belconnen Owl this morning.
I’ve been craving a steamed egg, wilted spinach and some melted cheese all week.
While in Norfolk Island breakfast consisted of toast and some tinned fruit.
It was good to get some of this in my belly this morning.

I went for my usual walk earlier.
I came across my friend, the Belconnen Owl Statue.
I then came across this abandoned shopping trolley at Margaret Timpson Park. It had an empty box in it for a vintage ‘ladies’ bicycle. It makes me wonder at the sort of person who would just littler like that.
With a little Tabasco™ sauce for some added kick.
So like I showed you yesterday, the whole steamed egg and wilted spinach is a thing with me.
This morning, I made a little mound of cheese on the spinach on which to nest my egg.
I broke the yolk deliberately before shooting the photograph so you can appreciate the oozy goodness of the yolk porn.

This is my go to breakfast most days of the week. This dish is protein rich and low in carbohydrates. You can also see I like my Nespresso™ coffee too.
